Crystal and her litter on a cool first day. |
Although the temperature had been warm, we left the heat lamp on the birthing pool. Crystal pushed the pool away from
the light, until she started delivering her pups. Then she pushed it under the light again. We are continually amazed by the
instincts all of our animals exhibit when they deliver their offspring. We have learned with our horses, cattle and german
Shepherds. Give them reasonable alternatives and let them alone. Then give them the best care possible and we are all happier.
